Graeme's Signature Dish

Venison Sausage Hot Pot

Pack Waitrose Venison Sausages
1 large Red onion
1 large Orange or yellow pepper
Enough Veg stock
Tbsp Tomato puree
Seasoning (favourites include smoked paprika, cumin, oregano)
Olive oil


Cook the sausages on a griddle until well browned. While they're cooking fry the red onion and pepper. Put everything together in a Casserole dish or slow cooker with enough stock to cover and the tomato puree and seasoning. Leave a good long time for the stock to thicken.
Serve with cous-couse or butternut squash - YEAH!
